The Bowerbird event is held over three days, 26th to 28th November at the Wayville Showgrounds in Adelaide SA. This is an amazing collection of incredibly talented designers and crafters all under one roof. I know my good friend Lindy and myself spent five hours wandering around at the May 2021 event. It was deliciously vibrant and colourful with such beautifully crafted goods, an absolute joy to behold. On display was a full range of products; art, clothing, jewellery, leather goods, exotic foods and beverages and much much more.

This November I will be having my own stall at Bowerbird. I have been working incredibly hard to bring some fabulous new things with me. Lots of very unique resin art tableware; coasters, placemats & grazing boards. As well as some of my original art pieces, art prints, greeting cards and of course my leather journals. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the event, it will be a fabulous few days for sure.

The chosen charity that Bowerbird has decided to sponsor for this event is Catherine House. They do amazing work providing accommodation and support for women experiencing homelessness. Over the weekend you can have your purchases gift wrapped at the Catherine House stall for a small donation. As a stall holder I am going to donate 10% of my total sales to the Catherine House Charity as well, a great way to help out and give back.

Bowerbird has been and gone. It was such a whirlwind few days, and an epic experience. I had such a wonderful time with all the amazing people there. I have included some photos above. First one showing the setup, standing there looking and thinking, “how on earth is all this going to go in there”? But by the end of the day we were all set up and ready to go.

Everything was so well organized and it all ran so smoothly. It was an absolute pleasure to be there and to meet everyone who stopped in for a chat. Thanks so much everyone.
