The Art of Journaling
One of my specialties is the crafting of my hand-sewn leather journals. These unique, one of a kind books are not only for writing in. I have had customers buy them to record all of their recipes to hand down within the family. They can also be used as an Inspiration Diary, for Dream Recording, Art sketching or for recording all of your Travel adventures.
But no matter what you choose your journal for, what is the best way to start journaling? Is there an ideal time of day? How long should it take? How many pages?
Forget all that. How you journal is much less important than why you are doing it. To get something off your chest or have quiet time with your thoughts. To clarify those thoughts and to separate the harmful from the insightful. To prepare for the day ahead and review the day that passed. There’s no right way or wrong way. The point is just to do it.

Beautifully hand crafted from the finest leathers combined with specialty papers and my own original art prints. Where possible I like to work with the natural edging of the hide to give the journal added character. Each hide is different with many lovely quirks - holes, differing colour gradients and natural blemishes.

A Unique Gift
The artists cartridge paper is a premium grade fine tooth artists paper. Perfect for finished drawing in pen, pencil, marker, charcoal & pastel. Internal pages can be white or exotically tea stained for that old world look and now also featuring hand made papers created using my home recyclables.

Customizable Pages
Journals can be customized, giving you a very personal gift for someone special. I have created journals using photographs in place of my art prints. A personalized message can also be printed on the first write-able page.

All of my leather hides are sourced from a Tannery located in Victoria. Their philosophy is to source the best Australian hides and use finishes to create the perfect product. I can proudly say these unique journals are 100% designed and crafted in Australia.

Five Different Sizes
I have continued to create smaller and smaller journals to prevent wastage. My newest size is a tiny 8 x 7cms, fully functional journal. These are the same as my larger journals complete with a tiny art print and gold paper at the front with artists cartridge paper. So can also be used for miniature sketches.

The journals are available in a range of exotic, distressed look leathers. Claret, Indigo & Olive. Along with the timeless classics Brown, Tan, Black & Charcoal. Journals arrive in a 100% recycled natural coloured gift box. Making these the perfect gift to give to someone special.
As an intuitive painter, I immerse myself in the paint on the canvas and move with its flow to create bold and dramatic pieces, colour is everything to me. It affects us on many levels without us even realizing. My favourite paints to use are the high flow acrylics. The fluidity of them is extraordinary, the colours vivid and exciting.
I like to push boundaries, always searching for something new. With the high flow acrylics there is ‘no control’ as such. I surrender myself to the paint and let it be the driving force. And that is part of the excitement, you just never know quite what you will create or where it will lead youi. Art is a journey that never ends.

Crystal Pendulums
The pendulum is perhaps one of the simplest and most effective methods of divination existing today. All pendulums have been crafted by myself using natural crystal pendulum pieces, pearls, shells, beads & Australian made lead free pewter charms.
Wood & Crystal Wands
Walking along the beach hunting for the treasures from Neptune's garden is a great passion of mine. These wands have been crafted with the beautiful shells and driftwood I have collected. All of my wands are made with natural crystals and the interesting bits and pieces I find when out walking.
Wrapped Crystal Jewellery
Crafted with natural crystals, I love creating simple elegant designs. But to satiate those moments of wildness, also push the boundaries with large, bold statement pieces. Rustically wire wrapped with Sterling Silver.
