Events Page

You may have noticed I have created an Events page for the website. It is my intention to ‘put myself out there’ at some of the fantastic expos and markets we have here in South Australia. It is always a wonderful experience when like minds come together sharing their creative bounty. Pure Alchemy.

My first Event will be the annual Body, Mind & Psychic Expo at the Wayville Showgrounds in Adelaide, 29th & 30th May. Not long now! I have been attending this expo on a personal level for many many years, and have always loved the bustling, vibrant atmosphere and eclectic array of items on show.

I have been busily creating some great specials for the expo; mini journals which look adorable (even if I do say so myself). These are very cute measuring only 11 x 8cms. My phone is bigger than this. All hand-bound and featuring a mini print, exactly the same as my beautiful larger journals do, with 100 leaves making 200 write-able pages. I don’t like to waste my leather and these were the perfect solution to using up the smaller pieces of hide that are left after cutting into them to create the larger versions.

I have also painted some mini round birchwood panels, 20cm and 30cm. These all feature my new ‘Beautiful World’ theme. Looking very much like our earth from space, with a layering of puffy clouds across the panels. Sealed birchwood panels ready to hang, painted with acrylics and varnished 4 times for protection.

There will be resin art coaster sets available in a variety of colours, plus 20cm resined placemats. These are also the ‘Beautiful World’ theme. I totally fell in love with this series. My favourite perspective is looking down across the countryside from above. I was fortunate enough to have a hot air balloon ride once, and such a beautiful and intricate tapestry is revealed when looking at the earth this way. I have tried to capture this perspective in the ‘Beautiful World’ series. And of course I will also be taking my fine Art Prints and card sets.
