Hand Painted Cotton Artist Shirt - 'Freckles'

The ‘Freckles’ shirt is made with 100% Organic Cotton which has been hand painted by myself.

This is an over-sized, unstructured shirt. Most people can easily go down a size, so please do make sure you measure across one of your own shirts you love to wear, to make sure you buy the right size for you.

My favourite clothes to wear are my painting clothes (believe it or not). I am the happiest and most comfortable when I am covered in paint, which means my clothes usually are too (and pretty much everything else). I like to wear my paint clothes everywhere, they are my daily work clothes afterall. When visiting my son, he would nearly always say as I walked through the door, "Mum, you need to sell your pants". There I was walking around in a masterpiece according to my fabulous son. And that always made me feel wonderful. So I really wanted to create something fun and colourful for everyone to wear. This vibrant shirt is very comfortable and looks totally gorgeous. I have been wearing mine everywhere lately and have had heaps of comments.

You might be wondering about the hand print. This is a very important motif as it represents my hands on paint style. When painting with my fluid paints I literally do have paint all over my hands sometimes. I really enjoy being in a creative mess. So I needed to slap that hand print onto the shirt to remind people not be afraid to dive in and get their hands dirty in their given creative field. Be totally absorbed and have fun!

This art piece is a brand new piece of clothing which I have pre-washed prior to painting. This ensures the best adhesion of the paint. After painting, this art piece has been washed again to ensure colour fastness of the paint.

You can wash your new ‘Inner Artist’ clothing like you would wash your regular clothes. Warm or cold wash, iron inside out. Not suitable for the clothes dryer though.

This first range I have called the 'Freckles' range. It reminds me of chocolate freckles, and who doesn't love those!!! We all need a little colour and fun in our lives. Enjoy!
