A5 Tan Leather Journal

Stunning rustic A5 (22 x 16cms), genuine leather hand-bound journal/notebook. Possibilities are endless - use for an Inspiration Diary, Dream Recording, Art or Travel Journal.
Made with a beautiful burnt orange/tan genuine leather hide. Bound with a black waxed linen thread and is teamed with 130gsm artists cartridge paper signatures which have been tea stained for an Olde Worlde look (signatures are the individual paper books which have been sewn inside, 8 in total, each consisting of 5 folded pages). 80 leaves which will give you 152 write-able pages. The paper is a premium grade fine tooth paper with good erasability. Perfect for finished drawing in pen, pencil, marker, charcoal & pastel.
Where possible I like to work with the natural edging of the hide to give the journal added character. Each hide is different with many lovely quirks - holes, differing colour gradients and natural blemishes. This particular piece has two holes on the wrap around cover. Attached wrap around lacing closes the journal. This is a fine 1.8mm leather, so please be aware this is not a rigid covering, but of course being natural leather, will be strong and durable.
A feature of this journal is the inclusion of four of my own original art prints, two at the front and two at the back, flanked by sheets of gold metallic and black premium papers. Making this a very unique and special journal for the recording of all your art, precious words and dreams.
