This hand signed fine art print is a high quality archival reproduction of the original artwork ‘Tree of Life’ Nightsky Series - Silver Seas.
One of the latest pieces in my tree collection, the Tree of Life has resonated with many. The fluid pour is reminiscent of a night sky or nebula with swirling colours and stars. A stunning artwork, the colours intense and mesmerizing. The crescent tree aura on the original painting in this series has been painted with metallic paint which shimmers when caught in the right light. For this set of prints I have hand embellished these with metallic paints also, so the prints appear the same as the originals. A small detail which really makes these feature pieces stand out.
The new app I am using allows me to use a virtual frame and matt board around the print. This is wonderful tool as you can see what the print might look like when framed. I have created a number of room mock ups to give a more accurate representation of the print from different perspectives. Print is presented to you on an archival white backing board and sleeved in a crystal clear archival bag ensuring protection until the print is framed.
These fine art prints have been printed on German Hahnemuhle 290gsm Bamboo paper (90% bamboo fibres & 10% cotton). From Hahnemuhle’s Natural Line of environmentally friendlier art print papers. Hahnemuhle have been making art papers for over 420 years. All Hahnemuhle papers have been certified by independent institutes to be highly resistant to aging and are vegan, in order to meet the highest requirements from customers.
Bamboo is a quickly renewable resource, being one of the fastest growing species of plant on the planet, with some species growing more than a metre in a day. Bamboo requires only a third of the water to grow that cotton and other traditional paper fibres need, and reaches maturity in 3-5 years or less. When it is cut, the stem is left in the ground to start the growing process again, making this a very eco friendly fine art paper.
My new line of Mini Prints are printed on Ilford Galerie 310gsm Smooth Cotton Rag.
