Stunning rustic A6 (15.5 x 11.5cms), genuine leather hand-bound journal/notebook. Possibilities are endless - use for an Inspiration Diary, Dream Recording, mini art journal or Travel Journal.

This particular journal is made with a beautiful burgundy genuine leather hide. Bound with a black waxed linen thread and is teamed with 130gsm artists cartridge paper signatures (signatures are the individual paper books which have been sewn inside, 8 in total, each consisting of 6 folded pages). 96 leaves which will give you 184 write-able pages. The paper is a premium grade fine tooth paper with good erasability. Perfect for finished drawing in pen, pencil, marker, charcoal & pastel.

Where possible I like to work with the natural edging of the hide to give the journal added character. Each hide is different with many lovely quirks - holes, differing colour gradients and natural blemishes. Attached wrap around lacing closes the journal. This is a firm 2.2mm leather, so is a more rigid covering, of course being natural leather, will be strong and durable. Journal has raw, unfinished edges which will soften and 'fluff' slightly with continued use, adding to the rustic appeal of this very distinctive book.

A feature of this journal is the inclusion of four of my own original art prints, two at the front and two at the back, flanked by sheets of gold metallic and black papers. Making this a very unique and special journal for the recording of all your art doodles, precious words and dreams.
